Visa Information for Foreign Participants

Travelers to Türkiye may need to obtain a visa before arrival, depending on their nationality. We strongly recommend that all international attendees verify visa requirements well in advance of the event and initiate the application process early if necessary.

Consult the Official Visa Information:
Visit the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ official visa information page: https://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-information-for-foreigners.en.mfa.

Explore the e-Visa Option:
Many nationalities are eligible for an e-Visa, which can be obtained online quickly and easily. To check eligibility and apply, go to the official e-Visa website: https://www.evisa.gov.tr.

Apply Through Turkish Missions if Necessary:
If you’re not eligible for an e-Visa or require a different type of visa, you should apply through the nearest Turkish embassy or consulate.

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned date of entry into Türkiye.

Purpose of Visit:
The e-Visa is typically suitable for tourism or commerce. You must obtain a visa through Turkish embassies or consulates for other purposes, such as work or study.

Should you be required to provide an invitation letter when applying for your VISA to Türkiye, please download the invitation letter form. Download here

Please take into account:

* Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, and you need to present a valid return ticket.
* Immigration officers in Türkiye may ask you to produce additional documents, such as hotel reservations and proof of finance.

Who is eligible to register?

All are welcome to attend this conference. Glob Logistics Network membership is not a prerequisite for registration.

Airport Transfer

The InterContinental Istanbul is approximately 39 kilometers (24 miles) from Istanbul Airport (IST), with a driving distance of about 42.2 kilometers (26.2 miles).

Transportation Options:

Metro: Take the M11 line from Istanbul Airport to Gayrettepe, then transfer to reach Taksim. The journey takes around 51 minutes.

Bus: HAVAİST operates direct buses from Istanbul Airport to Taksim Square every 30 minutes. The trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Taxi: A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel typically takes 38 minutes.

Car Rental: Various car rental services are available at the airport, offering flexibility for your travel plans.

Please note that travel times and costs are approximate and may vary based on traffic conditions and time of day.

Charge Payments

PayPal: This option incurs an additional fee of 5% of the total invoiced amount.
PayCargo: A transfer fee of 3.5% is associated with the total invoiced amount.
